If you ever wondered just how seriously we British take politics you need only take a brief glance at the astonishing range of funny political t shirts available. If there's one thing we are known for it's our cynical sense of humour, our love of irony and our delight in dry wit and sarcasm. Of course, misery loves company, and this is perhaps the one strength this country still has. There's such a lot of misery for us all to share, and we love doing just that. From the Fox & Hounds to online forums, the British can be found ranting and raving about how the country should be run, how things ought to be, and how much better life would be for everyone if they could be in power, misery is one of our greatest assets today.
