Movies That Show Off Greek Clothing

There are several movies that feature Greek apparel through the type of movies that they are. While not all these movies are not ones that everyone knows, they are movies that are popular amongst the comedy genre. These movies are very popular amongst younger people and have created a huge popularity in Greek clothing. Here are some of the most popular Sorority/ Fraternity movies that feature Greek clothing.

American Pie- The American Pie movies start out with a group of high school students that go off to college and the crazy things that can happen while living in a Sorority or Fraternity house. Throughout the movie, most all the girls throughout the movie wear their sorority clothing to show which house they belong to. This is especially true of the movie Beta House in which all of the guys in the movie wear their Greek clothing while going through Rush. There are approximately ten movies in this series.

House Bunny- This movie features Anna Faris as Shelley the house bunny. In this movie, Shelley is a Playboy Bunny that feels that she is too old to live in the Playboy mansion. When she moves out, she ends up on a college campus where she finds a job as a house mother for one of the geekiest sorority houses on campus. While the girls teach Shelly about being herself and book smarts, she teaches them how to party, about boys and fashion. Throughout the movie, all the girls of the sorority show off their sorority clothing as a show of community togetherness and sisterhood.

Accepted- This movie features Justin Long and Jonah Hill. In this movie, Jonah plays a goofy character that is attempting to help his friend start a fake college while trying to follow in his fathers and brother's legacy and join the fraternity house. Throughout the movie he is seen wearing his Greek clothing even while on his friend's college campus. This is a hilarious movie that not only shows off what Greek life can be like during Rush but also shows the power of friendship even if you are wearing another college's Greek clothing.

Revenge of the Nerds- This is a classic film from the 1980's. The movie is about feuding Greek fraternities on a college campus. While the geeks are trying to be accepted by the jock fraternity, they learn a lesson about acceptance and getting along. One of the main characters, Ogre, is always seen in his altered Greek clothing throughout the movie.

Sorority Boys- This is a newer movie about a group of rowdy fraternity brothers that gets kicked out of their frat house. Because they feel lost without the Greek lifestyle, they choose to dress up in sorority clothing as the "ugly girls" and join one of the nerdiest sorority houses. While going through Rush, they find out that a lot of the comments that they made to some of the less than beautiful girls were quite hurtful when they are directed toward them. Throughout the movie, they wear their sorority clothing almost daily because it is the one thing that ties them together when everyone else is picking on them.
